Annual Fortune Reading 流年運程
Your year ahead, read from your own BaZi chart rather than your zodiac sign. Enter your birth date and time and the reading maps how the incoming year's pillar interacts with yours — where money flows, where it leaks, and which months to move.
Your Year Ahead
From your Four Pillars 八字 we read what the year truly holds — its theme, your Tai Sui standing, wealth, career, love, health, a month-by-month map, and your lucky colours, directions and timing.

What a 流年 reading actually is
Most “year of the Horse” forecasts give the same prediction to everyone born in the same twelve-month window — roughly one twelfth of humanity. A 流年 (liúnián) reading does something different. It takes the year’s own Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch and reads them against your personal Four Pillars, so the answer depends on your exact birth moment, not your birth year alone.
That is why two people born in the same zodiac year can have opposite years. The incoming energy is the same; what it collides with is not.
How this reading is calculated
Your Four Pillars are computed from the solar calendar with the year boundary set at 立春 Lì Chūn — not 1 January, and not Chinese New Year. The day pillar is derived from the Julian Day Number against a verified 60-day cycle, and the hour pillar from the 五鼠遁 rule. Nothing here is generated prose fitted to a template: the same birth details will always produce the same chart.
From that chart the reading identifies your Day Master, your 喜用神 favourable element, and the Ten Gods present in the year pillar. Wealth, career, relationship and health readings all follow from those relationships.
Reading your result
Look first at the favourable element. If the year strengthens it, the year is broadly supportive and the advice is about pace and ambition. If the year strengthens what already overwhelms your chart, the year is about protection, timing and restraint — which is useful information, not bad news.
The month-by-month table is the practical part. Chinese metaphysics treats timing as more actionable than prediction: the same decision made in a supporting month and a clashing month does not carry the same risk.
Common questions
Do I need my exact birth time?
The date alone gives you three of the four pillars and a usable reading. The hour pillar sharpens the career and relationship sections considerably. If you don’t know it, enter your best estimate and treat the hour-specific notes as indicative.
Is this the same as a Western horoscope?
No. Western astrology reads planetary positions. BaZi reads the Stem-Branch cycle of the calendar itself, and interprets the interaction of five elements across four pillars. Different system, different mechanics, different output.
What do I get in the paid report?
The free reading gives you the chart and the headline shape of the year. The full report adds the month-by-month breakdown, your favourable directions and colours, specific caution dates, and the written interpretation of each Ten God relationship in your chart.
