About God of Wealth
God of Wealth is a Chinese metaphysics practice on the web. We compute the classical systems properly, publish what we know, and charge only when a person spends time on your chart.
Why we exist
Search for your Chinese horoscope and you will find a thousand pages telling one twelfth of humanity the same thing. It is comforting, it is cheap to produce, and it has almost nothing to do with the tradition it borrows its vocabulary from.
The actual systems are not like that. 八字 reads a specific moment — year, month, day and hour — and two people born in the same zodiac year can have opposite charts. 紫微斗數 lays out a court of stars across twelve palaces and often disagrees with the BaZi reading in useful ways. 奇門遁甲 does not read a person at all; it reads a moment, for one decision. These are demanding methods with two thousand years of recorded practice behind them, and they deserve better than being flattened into twelve animal cartoons.
We built God of Wealth to do them properly and give them away.
How we work
The calculations are free and always will be. Every chart, board, lot, almanac lookup and physiognomy reading on this site runs without an account and without payment. Not a trial, not a teaser — the whole calculation.
Payment is for a person’s time. When you buy something here, you are buying written work: a practitioner reading your lot against the question you actually asked, an annual report annotated month by month, a naming review defended in writing. Never for arithmetic.
Nothing is generated. No reading on this site is written by a language model. The charts are deterministic arithmetic; the interpretations are written by a human. Our content integrity page sets out exactly where that line sits.
What makes the engines different
Most free BaZi calculators on the internet are wrong in the same two ways: they treat 1 January as the year boundary, and they derive the month pillar from the calendar month. Both are incorrect, and both silently produce a different chart for anyone born near a boundary.
Ours use the 立春 solar-term boundary for the year, the 五虎遁 and 五鼠遁 rules for month and hour pillars, and a day pillar derived from the Julian day number so it is exact for any date rather than approximated. The lunar table is verified across 1920 to 2039, and outside that range the tools say so rather than guessing.
If you have used another calculator and our chart differs, check whether you were born in late January or early February. That is almost always where the disagreement comes from — and it is almost always the other tool.
The temple
Alongside the readings we keep an online temple: fifteen altars, each with its god’s story, feast day, correct offerings and the real chant in Chinese, Sanskrit or Pali as appropriate. It is free, it needs no account, and it is built with care rather than as decoration.
It exists because this tradition is not only analytical. People come to it in difficulty as often as in curiosity, and a site that offers only charts is only telling half the truth about what these practices are for.
What we will not do
We will not predict your future, name a date, promise an outcome, or tell you what a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser should tell you. We will not sell lottery numbers. We will not use your birth details for anything other than producing your reading.
These systems are traditional interpretive frameworks with a long history of practice. They are not scientifically validated predictive methods, and we say so on every page rather than in small print.
