Hall of Blessings 祈福殿
Eight traditional rites you can perform yourself — beating the petty person, burning money to dispel misfortune, receiving the God of Wealth at new year, and more.
Hall of Blessings
Step into the hall and perform a ritual — light a lamp, ring the great bell, shake the money tree, float a wish to heaven. Each is a small, sincere act of devotion.
Rites, not spells
Each rite here is a real observance from Chinese folk practice, with its purpose, its proper timing, its words and its do’s and don’ts. They are devotional acts within a living tradition. None of them is presented as a mechanism for producing a supernatural outcome.
Where a rite has a traditional season — 打小人 at 驚蟄, 接財神 on the fifth day of the new year — the page says so, because timing is part of the practice.
Common questions
Do I need anything physical?
No. Each rite can be performed as it stands. Where a physical equivalent exists, the page describes it.
Is there a right time?
For some, yes, and it’s stated. Others can be performed whenever needed.
Do these cost anything?
No. Every rite in the hall is free.
