Your Vitality & Longevity

From your Four Pillars 八字 we read your constitution — which of the five organ systems are strong, which to nurture — your vitality index, and a personalized 養生 plan to build a long, healthy life. This is guidance for well-being, not a prediction of any lifespan.

A wellness & reflection guide based on Five-Element theory (五行養生) — never a medical diagnosis or a lifespan estimate. For any health concern, see a doctor.

Please read this first

This is not a medical tool and it is not a lifespan prediction. It produces no diagnosis, no prognosis, and no number of years. 養生 means “nourishing life” — a body of traditional lifestyle practice concerned with rest, food, season and moderation.

If you have, or think you may have, any medical or psychological condition, seek professional medical help first. Nothing here replaces a qualified doctor, and nothing here should delay you seeing one.

Constitutional types in Five-Element theory

Traditional Chinese thought associates each of the five elements with an organ system, a season, a flavour, an emotion and a characteristic pattern of strength and vulnerability. Wood with the liver and spring; Fire with the heart and summer; Earth with the spleen and late summer; Metal with the lungs and autumn; Water with the kidneys and winter.

Your BaZi shows which of these runs strong in your chart and which runs thin. The reading translates that distribution into the classical guidance for that constitution — which is, in practice, mostly unglamorous advice about sleep, warmth, and eating in season.

What the reading gives you

Your dominant and deficient elements, the constitutional type they suggest, seasonal guidance for each of the four seasons, foods and flavours the tradition associates with support and with strain, favourable directions for rest and work, and the years and months that traditionally call for more care rather than less.

Common questions

Does this tell me how long I will live?

No. It cannot and it does not try to. Any tool claiming to is not being honest with you.

Can I use this instead of seeing a doctor?

No. Use it alongside proper medical care, never instead of it. If something is wrong, see a doctor first.

Is the food advice evidence-based nutrition?

It is traditional Five-Element dietary theory, presented as such. It is cultural guidance, not clinical nutrition. Treat it as a frame for eating seasonally and moderately, and take dietary decisions with a qualified professional.
